This email campaign works with commitments and enables automated reminders to be sent to supporters with open commitments. If you're new to commitments, we recommend first learning about commitments and pledging.

Access commitment reminder email campaign
1. In your sidemenu > click Email Campaigns
2. Click Commitment Reminders
Or — In the top search bar > select Email Campaigns > enter Commitment
Inside the campaign, you'll see the five email templates that can send in this campaign. You can click in to edit each email template and activate or deactivate each email.

Who receives these emails?
A Supporter who has an open commitment balance and is approaching or past their commitment due date can receive these emails.
What emails are sent?
There are five emails that can be configured and activated. You can toggle on all the emails or only the ones you'd like to use. At this time, you can not add additional emails to the campaign or configure the sending delays.
Campaign email options
Sent 60 days before commitment is due
Sent 30 days before commitment is due
Sent 15 days before commitment is due
Sent the day a commitment is due
Sent 2 days after commitment is due
Example content
The content below is the default content for each email. We highly encourage you to customize content based on your organization's strategy and messaging.
The examples below use data merge tags to personalize content.
☝️ Emails are defaulted with button merge tag link that directs users to the Donor Portal where the supporter can login and make a payment for the commitment. This defaulted button link is our recommendation, but you can remove that link and choose to direct donors to another page.
