Funraise's July product updates have something for everyone, whether you're looking to boost recurring donation revenue during this end-of-year giving season or collect in-person donations at your next event.

New this month

  1. Fundraiser pages in Funraise's Giving portal app

  2. Recurring upgrade in the donation flow

  3. Stripe card reader for in-person payments

  4. Add multiple Giving Forms to a Campaign Site

  5. Edit donation dedication details

Fundraiser pages in Funraise's Giving Portal App

Peer-to-Peer individual fundraisers can now view and manage their fundraising pages in Funraise's Giving portal app. This allows fundraisers to quickly check in on their progress or easily share their page through text messages or other apps.

Funraise's Giving portal app already enables donors to view and manage their donations. The addition of fundraiser pages makes the Giving portal app an even more powerful connection between your supporters and their impact with your organization.

Our next step for the Giving portal app will be introducing push notifications which will send alerts to fundraiser's phones when they receive a donation to their page πŸŽ‰

Recurring Upgrade

Promoted from beta this month, the Recurring Upgrade feature is now available to all organizations. When Recurring Upgrade is activated, donors who select a one-time donation equal to or less than $100 will be invited to convert their one-time donation into a smaller but recurring monthly donation. This feature can be toggled on or off for any Giving Form.

Stripe card reader for in-person payments (Stripe Reader M2)

Funraise's mobile app now connects with Stripe's M2 card reader. This reader enables you to swipe, tap, or insert cards to conduct in-person payments quickly.

Add multiple Giving Forms to a Campaign Site

Connect multiple Giving Forms with your Campaign Site to accommodate sites with both ticketing and donation forms. This improvement allows you to add multiple forms without any need to copy and paste form code. Learn more β†’

Edit donation dedication details

Sunset of PayPal Here card reader

For organizations using Funraise's app to collect in-person payments, we'll be ending support for the PayPal Here card reader on September 30, 2022 in favor of Stripe's M2 card reader. Learn more about purchasing and connecting a Stripe card reader.

Apple Pay and recurring payments

Due to credit card network (e.g. VISA/MasterCard) changes that were contributing to an increase in failed payments for recurring Apple Pay payments, we've turned off the ability for donors to create new recurring donations with Apple Pay. Existing recurring donations using Apple Pay have not been changed. Our team is monitoring this change with the hopes of soon reactivating recurring functionality for Apple Pay.
