With Funraise you have access to several modern SMS (mobile texting) communication and donation tools. You can send outbound SMS text messages to your supporters and configure text-to-give codes for automated mobile donation experiences.
Funraise's text engagement features are only available in the United States.
Getting started
The first step to sending SMS messages or activating custom text-to-give codes is to create your organization's SMS number.
Sending SMS Text Messages
View sent SMS messages and replies on the Supporter's profile
Replies to your outbound SMS messages will trigger a notification email to the team member assigned to the Supporter
Text-to-Give codes
You can create custom text-to-give codes, like
DONATEorGIVEWhen a custom code is sent to your SMS number, your custom automated message will be sent as a reply. Most often, your automated message will be a link to a donation page.
SMS Fees and Billing
There are two plan types for SMS messaging: Usage based billing and tier based billing. Reach out to us to learn more about your options for SMS billing.
Usage-Based Billing
With usage-based billing each SMS message sent incurs a $0.05 fee. Billing for usage occurs monthly, based on the messages sent in the month.

Tier-Based Billing
Tier-based billing does not incur a per-send usage fee, although this plan limits the number of messages that can be sent in 24 hours.

What SMS messages count for billing?
Both outbound messages and text-to-give automated replies incur a fee or count against your daily send limit (depending on your plan).
Inbound messages sent to your number do not incur costs or count against your daily send counts.
