To activate text engagement features like outbound messaging or text-to-give codes, you will first need to activate an SMS Number.

☝️ A2P 10DLC registration and approval required
After creating a new SMS number, Funraise will register your SMS campaign to receive approval. During this approval process you may experience a delay of 2-3 weeks before this number can be used to send messages.
Please note: To be A2P 10DLC compliant your organization's website will need to have a Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions clearly linked.
Activate an SMS number
1. From Settings > Click Text-to-Give
2. Click Add Number
3. Enter your local area code > Click Create Number
4. All done! Wait for the system to finish processing and your new Organization SMS Number will appear. As noted above, it can take up to 2-3 weeks for your organizations number to be approved and ready to use to send outbound messages.
