There's a lot to love in the November release notes, including a new Campaign Site widget, Stock donations 🎉, and an improved giving experience with performance and visual updates to the Giving Form.

New this month

Top fundraisers Campaign Site widget

Released to all organizations, the top fundraisers and teams widget is a new section that can be added to a Campaign Site homepage to highlight your top fundraisers.

This update is being rolled out to all free accounts and remains in a closed beta for paid accounts. Donor Covers Fees V2 gives donors more control to select their preferred fee coverage amount with a fee slider, rather than a binary option.

Salesforce integration enhancements

This month, we also released several helpful improvements to the Salesforce integration.

Sync failure retries

When a sync from Funraise fails, we're now automatically retrying the sync several times to reduce manual intervention.

Fee fields

Additional fee-related fields can now be mapped to Opportunities. These additional fields include:

  • Amount Before Fees

  • Donors Cover Fees Eligible

  • Donor Covered Fees

  • Donor Covered Fee Amount

Enhanced field mapping and data reconciliation

From the field mapping screen, you can now determine how to handle data syncs where data already exists in a Salesforce field. These options include:

  • Overwrite

  • Overwrite if Funraise data is not empty

  • Don't overwrite

  • Overwrite if more recent

Housekeeping

Reminder—Fundraising Intelligence will experience a read-only maintenance window between January 24-31, 2023.

This update will only impact the Fundraising Intelligence section of the platform. During this read-only maintenance window, you will not be able to create or edit reports or dashboards. Reports and dashboards that you create prior to this window will be accessible and will continue to be updated. After the maintenance is completed, you will be able to continue to create and edit your reports and dashboards as normal.
