You can delete Supporter records from Funraise. Deleting a Supporter will remove the Supporter and related records. 

⚠️ Deleting a Supporter is an irreversible action When a Supporter is deleted, the supporter record and any other records that were deleted in that process will be permanently deleted from your account. It is not possible to bring back data that has been deleted.

👭 Need to resolve duplicate Supporters?

If you need to merge multiple duplicate Supporter records, you'll want to use a <a href="https://help.funraise.io/en/articles/1971286-merge-duplicate-supporters">Supporter Merge action</a>.

When a Supporter is deleted, connected records will be removed or reassigned. Below is a list of the consequences of a Supporter delete process.

Integrations do not sync a Supporter delete action

A Supporter delete action in Funraise does not sync with any integrations.

Supporter	Supporter record is deleted Related items are deleted, including: Payment Methods Notes Tasks Interactions Addresses Custom Question Answers Emails Relationships Orders Event attendance and more
Household	If the Supporter was the primary contact, another Household member is promoted If they were the only Household member, the Household is deleted If the Household’s preferred address belonged to the deleted Supporter, the preferred address is removed
Transactions	All Transactions from this Supporter are deleted.
Subscriptions	All Subscriptions connected to this Supporter are cancelled and deleted. ⚠️ Active recurring Subscriptions are cancelled and deleted.
Soft Credits	All soft-credit links to this Supporter are removed; the underlying Transactions remain.
Fundraising Pages	Fundraiser pages owned by the Supporter are deleted Transactions assigned the deleted fundraising page are re-linked to the parent Campaign Site Page Goal Team memberships are removed If the Supporter is an owner of a fundraising team, the team is deleted If the Supporter was an admin of a fundraising team, a new admin is not automatically chosen. You can set a new admin from the Team Page profile Commitments are deleted
Orders	All Orders connected to the deleted Supporter will be deleted.
Event Registrations	If the deleted Supporter is connected to a Registration Order, the Order and and any Registrations in that Order are deleted. If the deleted Supporter is a guest of another Supporter, the deleted Supporter’s Registration is deleted.
