How to refund a transaction

Refund a transaction

From Transactions > Click a Transaction's Actions Menu (3 dots) > Select Refund Transaction

You can also refund a Transaction from the Transaction Profile action menu.

Good to know

  • If a transaction is refunded within 24 hours of occurring, it may be voided. If a transaction is refunded after 24 hours of occurring, it will be refunded (the difference here is minimal and only affects the donor's card statement).

  • Only successful online transactions can be refunded. Offline transactions can not be refunded but can be deleted.

  • Funraise's Platform Fee is not refundable. Please note: If a Transaction that was assessed a Funraise Platform Fee is refunded, Funraise's Platform Fee is not refunded as outlined in Funraise's Terms & Conditions.
