Updated over a week ago

In our April release notes, we're announcing Email Sync (BCC to Funraise), making major enhancements to the HubSpot integration, and we're sharing some updates on upcoming features and improvements. This article also includes an important update to processing fees for AMEX and ACH payment methods.

What's New

Email Sync (BCC to Funraise)

Sync emails with Funraise from external email providers (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) by including your organization's Inbound Parse Email in the To, BCC, or CC recipient fields. Email communication is synced as a Supporter Interaction record.

HubSpot integration improvements

We've enhanced the Funraise HubSpot integration with many more syncable data points and custom mapping, enabling you to configure how Funraise data is synced with HubSpot.

Coming Soon

Funraise Payments powered by Stripe | Processing Fee update

Beginning June 1, 2025, American Express payments will incur an additional 1% fee. This change reflects the higher costs associated with processing premium and rewards-based cards like Amex, which carry increased fees from card networks.

Additionally, we are adjusting our ACH processing fees from 0.8% to 1% and removing the existing cap on ACH processing fees.

These updates enable Funraise to continue providing the donation processing connections you rely on and allow us better manage processing costs for premium rewards-based cards and dynamic network costs.

Wealth Screening & Prospecting data

Funraise has partnered with Kindsight (iWave) to make donor wealth and prospecting data available inside Funraise. This feature will make it possible to scan an individual supporter or a filtered list of supporters to discover data that reveals a donor's capacity to give and their likelihood of giving to a cause like yours.

⚠️ Removal of Legacy Wealth Data

Beginning May 15, 2025, legacy wealth data will be deleted from Funraise. The removal of this legacy wealth data makes room for Funraise's new and improved wealth screening and donor prospecting data. Legacy wealth data originated from a previous wealth screening model that has been inactive for several years. Legacy fields that will be removed:

  • P2G Score

  • Net Worth

  • Income

  • Gift Capacity

  • Annual Donations

Salesforce Integration | Nonprofit Cloud (NPC)

We're happy to announce that upcoming changes to enable the Funraise Salesforce integration to connect with Salesforce NPC objects are being reviewed by the Salesforce app review team. Stay tuned!

Funraise App | iOS 18 updates

The Funraise App is being updated for iOS 18. Per Apple's guidance, we will continue to maintain backwards compatibility for 2 versions. This means the Funraise App will be available on devices running iOS 16-18.
