A Campaign Site section background video requires a direct media link. This means you'll need to host the video externally & provide a link to the media.

In most cases, your web developer can provide a direct link for you. Check with that team before using the solution below.

If you're new to hosting media online, there are a few hosting services you can use, we recommend Dropbox because it's easy and free to use.

Upload your video to Dropbox

You'll need to create a dropbox account to complete these steps.

  1. Click All Files from the left-hand panel

  2. Click the Upload button

  3. After your video has successfully uploaded, you will need to copy the link

  4. Click the 3-dots to the right of the video you uploaded > Copy Link.

Next, you'll need to format the share link. This changes the link so that it displays your media, rather than the standard dropbox share page.

  1. In the dropbox link URL, replace https://www.dropbox.com with https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com

  2. Your final URL should look something like this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/vugntep2mxisnha/yourVideo.mov

  3. Now, you can place your link into a Campaign Site section background

Please note—this is a workaround for using dropbox links for background images. We can not guarantee this method will always be available from dropbox.
