The April release is here! This month we’ve released features focused on reducing online transaction fraud. Learn more about why and how we’re focusing on fraud here: What is transaction fraud?

What's New

Transaction Fraud Prevention with Machine Learning

We've introduced machine learning technology to mitigate the risk of online transaction fraud. This feature continues the security and scalability of Funraise’s online payment services.

The goal of this feature is to provide blanket fraud protection to our customers across a broad range of gateways. We hope it's so good, you'll never know it's there. We’ll be slowly rolling out this feature—starting with organizations that have seen a high rate of fraud attempts.

Donor IP Address Data

We’re now passing Donor IP Address data through the online payment flow. The goal of the feature is to increase transaction fraud prevention methods available at your gateway level. If your gateway allows, you can manually block a particular IP address that is creating fraudulent transactions.

Campaign Site Forms default to Form V2

This is quite a small change compared with the rest of this release, but worth mentioning. Campaign Sites will now default to Form V2. This version of the form offers the most updated UI and more native options like tickets and Apple Pay.
