This integration may not be included in every Funraise plan.
Mailchimp can be integrated with the Funraise platform directly from the Integrations page under settings. You may need to contact your Success Manager to activate this feature.
What the integration does:
Syncs new supporters to a single audience you identify in your Mailchimp account
Adds new custom fields to your Mailchimp records to store Funraise data, these fields are detailed below

* Funraise tags are sent to a custom merge field, but they are not shared with Mailchimp tags. Mailchimp tags are separate from Funraise tags.

👉 Email opt-out: Supporters will not be synced with Mailchimp when they are marked as opted-out of email communications in Funraise.
👉 Mailchimp custom field limit: Mailchimp only allows for an Audience list to have a maximum of 30 Fields. Funraise sends 21 fields, so be sure that your list doesn't already have more than 9 fields when you connect your Mailchimp integration in Funraise.

In Mailchimp...
Create an API key in Mailchimp by clicking Account > Extras > API Keys
2. To create a new audience in your Mailchimp account, follow these steps.
Click the Audience icon.
2. Click Audience dashboard.
3. Click the Current audience drop-down and choose View audiences.
If you have only one audience, click the Manage Audience drop-down and choose View audiences.
Click Create Audience.
In the confirmation box, click Create Audience.
Enter the details in the fields provided.
When you're finished, click Save.
In Funraise...
From the Profile Icon, click "Settings" and then click on the Integrations Page.
On the Mailchimp Integration card, click on the Actions menu > "Edit".
6. Paste the API Key and List ID. Press "Save".
That's it! Once the settings are in place and the integration is turned on, Funraise communicates with Mailchimp and adds custom fields to your contact records. We suggest getting started by creating a few segments in this list that can start populating when donation and fundraising activity occurs!
