This documentation describes the process for migrating your historic campaign fundraiser and team data to Funraise.

1. Input your data using the template provided

Contact your Technical Engineer through the Funraise Service Desk and let us know that you’re ready to start a data migration. We will share a migration template through Google Sheets. We’ll also open up a Service Desk ticket so you and your team can easily track the progress of your request.

2. We will review your data

We will review your import file. We will highlight any errors or invalid fields and pass it back with clear instructions to resolve.

Be prepared, an import ready file requires fields with exact syntax. We will not be able to proceed until we have an import ready file and it is your responsibility to produce an import ready file. Preparing an import ready file will require a dedicated effort on your end.

3. We will import your data

We will begin the import process as soon as we have an import ready file. With an import ready file, the process can take up to 2 months.

Migration costs
Migrating data to Funraise incurs a cost based on the quantity of records and your pricing plan. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn about the cost based on your plan.
