Funraise and POINT have partnered to provide volunteer management tools that seamlessly sync volunteer data with Funraise so you have a full picture of your supporter's engagement with your organization.

With integrated volunteer management, you can view a supporter's full engagement with your organization enabling more personal donor communication and better overall supporter segmenting — for example, filter supporters based on their volunteer engagement and donation history from the same place.

We've partnered with POINT, because POINT is the best volunteer management solution for nonprofits with tools for volunteer recruitment, time management, communication, and reporting.

How it works

Volunteer data in Funraise

View and manage summary volunteer data for each supporter.

  • Last Volunteered Date

  • Total Hours Volunteered

  • Volunteer Profile

☝️ This volunteer data is available and editable for all organizations. Connecting POINT will enable these fields to be automatically updated based on volunteer activity synced from POINT.

With a POINT integration ✨

When POINT is connected with Funraise, volunteer data is synced from POINT to Funraise.

When is data synced?

When a volunteer record is created or updated in POINT, data will be synced to Funraise.

How is a POINT volunteer matched with a Funraise supporter?

An email address is used to match POINT and Funraise records.

  • If a matching supporter is found in Funraise, volunteer data will be updated on the existing supporter.

  • If no matching Supporter is found in Funraise, a new supporter record will be created with the volunteer data.

What data is synced?

  • Supporter — Last Volunteered Date

  • Supporter — Total Hours Volunteered

  • Supporter — Volunteer Profile (A link to the volunteer profile in POINT)

  • Interactions — Volunteer activity will create a new interaction on the supporter with an interaction type of Volunteering

Anything else?

Yes! In POINT, you'll be able to select one of your Giving Forms as the donation form for your POINT landing page.

Connect POINT with Funraise

You'll connect the POINT integration by entering your Funraise API key into POINT.

In Funraise

  1. Access Settings > API keys and generate a new API Key

In POINT

  1. In your POINT sidemenu, click Integrations

  2. Find Funraise, click View

  3. Follow steps to activate the integration
